HomeAlmanac, a calm home maintenance and records app for iPhone.

Private by default

Your records live on your device, not on our servers.

No account needed

Open the app and start. There is nothing to sign up for.

Works offline

Everything you save is right there on your phone.

Built for Apple

iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, widgets, and Siri.

The problem

Your home’s history is scattered across a hundred places.

The water heater’s install date is on a faded sticker in the garage. The dishwasher manual is in a drawer, or a landfill. The paint color is a guess. When something breaks, or a buyer asks, you piece it together from memory and old email.

01

The junk drawer

Manuals and warranty cards you will never find in time.

02

Your inbox

Receipts buried under a year of other email.

03

Your memory

The one place a service date should never live.

HomeAlmanac gives all of it a single, calm home.

What it does

One place for the work, the records, and the reminders.

HomeAlmanac handles the two halves of owning a home: the upkeep you need to stay ahead of, and the paperwork you need to keep. Here is how it helps.

Maintenance on a schedule that thinks

Seasonal and recurring tasks build themselves around your home. Furnace filter every three months, gutters in the fall, detector batteries each spring. You get a nudge before a task is due, not a pile of chores after.

A home health score

One number tells you how caught up you are. Tap it to see what is overdue, what is coming, and what to do first.

Every document, instantly searchable

Manuals, warranties, receipts, and inspection reports live in one vault. Full-text search finds the line you need, even inside a scanned PDF.

Scan a nameplate, skip the typing

Point your camera at an appliance label. HomeAlmanac reads the model and serial number and files them for you.

Warranties that warn you in time

Track what is covered and until when. Get a heads-up before a warranty lapses, while a claim still counts.

Recall alerts for your actual appliances

HomeAlmanac checks your equipment against published safety recalls, right on your device, and tells you if one of yours is affected.

A look inside

Calm to open. Quick to use.

No clutter, no dashboards full of charts you will never read. Just the state of your home and the next thing worth doing.

How it works

Set it up in minutes. Lean on it for years.

  1. 1

    Add your home

Answer a few questions about your house: its age, its systems, the appliances you own. HomeAlmanac builds a starter maintenance plan in seconds.

  2. 2

    Capture as you go

Snap a photo of a manual, scan a nameplate, save a receipt. Every detail you add makes your records more complete.

  3. 3

    Stay ahead

Get the right reminder at the right time, watch your health score climb, and find any detail in one search when you need it.

Why local-first

Your home’s records belong to you, not to us.

Most home apps keep your data on their servers. In 2025, a well-known one shut down and its users lost the records they had spent years building. HomeAlmanac is built the other way around. Your information stays on your iPhone. There is no account to create and nothing for us to sell, lose, or leak.

  • No account, ever

No sign-up, no email, no password. Open the app and it is yours.

  • On your device

Your records are stored on your phone and included in your normal iPhone backup.

  • Your iCloud, not ours

Premium adds optional sync through your own Apple account, so even your backups stay private to you.

  • Never locked in

Export a full archive or a clean PDF whenever you want. Your data is always yours to take.

Good questions

The things people ask first.

Is my data really private?

Yes. Your records are stored on your iPhone, not on our servers. HomeAlmanac has no account system and does not track you or sell anything. We cannot see your data, because it never reaches us.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Completely. Everything you save lives on your device, so the app works the same on a plane or in a basement with no signal.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no password. You open the app and start adding your home right away.

What does the free version include?

The free version covers one home with up to 5 documents, 3 appliances, and 5 photos. It is a real, useful app on its own, not a trial that expires.

Which devices does it support?

HomeAlmanac is built for iPhone, with an iPad layout, an Apple Watch app, home screen widgets, and Siri shortcuts. It needs iOS 17 or later.

Get your home in order before the next thing breaks.

HomeAlmanac is coming soon to the App Store. One quiet place for everything your house asks you to keep track of.
